The owner of Cheltenham’s Daffodil Restaurant decided to open The Chef’s Pantry to sell products made within the restaurant’s own kitchen and also some of the finer ingredients used by chef Tom Raines and his team.
The two buildings adjoin so it was essential the style of the deli was on a par with the restaurant’s fashionable, period interior. The team at the Daffodil worked closely with the Interior Designers at the Space Group to design all the bespoke counters and shopfittings which were subsequently manufactured in-house by Holmes Catering Equipment Solutions.
- The bespoke refrigerated retail deli with granite shelves is used to display meat, cheese and pre-prepared dishes
- Contemporary wall and floor racking can be stacked for presenting fresh fruit and vegetables
- Rustic-looking wall racking was designed to display exclusive merchandised items such as vinegars, oils and tinned produce.
- A reclaimed wood back counter which is visible to the customer, provides useful storage
The results speak for themselves, and the deli is a worthy addition to the beautiful and iconic restaurant.
