Brilliant kitchen with house attached

The home’s main attraction is a brand new state of the art industrial kitchen, which only a
house of this size and scale could contain.
The details were left to Peter Winterton of HCE Food & Retail Concepts who designed the Everton Store, known as the Toffee Store.
More used to creating industrial kitchens, Peter visited the house and produced a sketch of the ideal kitchen Mag’s had dreamed of but wasn’t quite sure how it would look! “Previously the kitchen had been drab, dark and full of brick walls. I wanted light and space. The builders came and taped off the kitchen for a month and we decamped to the dining room.
When the plastic sheeting was finally removed the transformation was complete. The traditional turn of the century house now boasted a kitchen any Michelin Starred chef would be proud of.
The industrial theme enhanced by the professional cooker, fridge and freezer was accented in slabs of grey marble with white tiles and masses of glass.
The brick walls had been removed and the room extended out into the garden enhanced by floor to ceiling glass doors.
The central island conceals acres of storage space, which allow the room to retain its clean lines, and the lounging area with oak floor provides two black leather armchairs to recline and watch the rural scene unfold in the garden.
